'Heart of Gold' was inspired by a trip to New Zealand with my partner. Inspired by led-light works I sought to capture a mosaic and flow of lines. Every colour in the piece is slightly different therefore allowing it to all work seamlessly in with one another. I began with a reference image and then adapted it from there, aiming to follow the lines of the mountains and find this balance between the depth of the image and the flatness. This was digitally drawn using my iPad and Adobe Illustrator Draw.
